About Erik

Before founding Aiwe and following a hiatus from professional life, I traveled across Europe with my wife in our camper. This was our second attempt, as the first was disrupted by COVID-19, chasing us through half of Europe before we had to interrupt and return home. My greatest passion in life has always been traveling alongside my wife, Hanna.

Although I appreciate the hustle and bustle of people, I find greater joy in spending leisure time in nature, regardless of the season or climate. Over the years, I have residing in various parts of Sweden, from Jönköping and Malmö to Dalarna and Gothenburg.

With extensive experience in business development and technical innovation, I have served as a designer, project manager, and product manager. During this period, I also spearheaded a factory relocation to Poland, residing in Poznan for six months. Over the past eight years, my primary focus has been on relationship-driven sales, including roles at two of Sweden’s major consulting firms. My primary objective has always been to create successful networks with individuals whom I believe in and enjoy working with.

In recent years, I have directed my efforts toward building projects and teams in classical embedded development in C/C++ and electronics. My extensive network worldwide has allowed me to establish supply chains in software and electronics product development, even in unique and specialized domains.

About Hanna

AIWE is created out of our own vision and passion for a freer life.

Everything actually started back in 2020 when I decided to become self-employed. I had worked at various companies with Sustainability issues and felt the need to take another step in my professional career. I felt that I could do so much more with different types of companies instead of just being employed by one. I have always been a person who thrived in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment and have a burning interest in new technology and digitizing processes within sustainable business.

After a couple of years on my own, I realized that as a self-employed consultant I was quite alone. I loved the freedom and flexibility of being a self-employed consultant, but I lacked a real context. Although the clients I worked with provided a great sense of community, I sometimes missed people with a similar background and experience to play with.

In connection with this, my husband Erik’s thoughts also began to sprout. There is a huge need for competent consultants in software development. But there is also an increased need for agile project work methods. To be able to quickly switch in the right skills in the development projects where needed.

We also see a change in trend where many consultants today want the opportunity to decide for themselves more about how much and what they want to work with. You want to be your own boss and care about your own skills development. But you also want to belong to a context.

We believe that AIWE will be the context that has been missing in the market.
